Using the micro:bit V2 programmed on the MakeCode platform, you can build a physical smart home model with building blocks and control it through voice commands. The hands-on assembly process strengthens practical building skills, while event-driven logic helps learners understand system behavior. You can control servos to open and close doors, read temperature and humidity data, switch the fan on and off, and manage ambient lighting. With sufficient DIY creativity, the system can be expanded with additional functional modules for more interestin.
